Please note that I am changing my magazines to numbered Issues and not reference them to a certain month.

Leannàn – Love Triangle will be Issue 4 and Ealaín – Inspirations will be Issue 15

The reason for this is :

  • I will not be bound by deadlines. As I have no subscription readers and as I am doing the magazine in my spare time and have not yet made any money on it (barely covering my cost), I am tired of being pushed into a specific deadline.
  • I will bring out the magazines in due course. I will not be later than 65 days after the submission deadlines at the most and could be sooner if time allows.
  • I will also only give the next theme when the submission deadline for the current one is closed
  • Contributors will receive a email when magazine is life and a complimentary copy...

Interview with W du Plooy

When did you first, without hesitation, call yourself a writer?

I have not yet

What’s the earliest memory you have of writing a story?

I wrote a story in high school in my native language – Afrikaans. It was a Romance novel

What is your least favorite part of the writing process?

The research – creating my worlds

If you could work with any author who would it be?

Stephen King

Where did your love of books/storytelling/reading/writing/etc. come from?

I love reading and I love sharing my worlds with others

What authors do you like to read? What book or books have had a strong influence on you or your writing?

I love Stephen Kin...

Ealaín – In the End

Reprise in Blue

By Carter Vance

The victims of history speak not

to their plight, they speak not

through arrows and gunshots,

through shirt factory fires,

through schoolhouse stands and

rural church steeple bombings.

Ealaín : In the End

Born in Italy some decades ago, Gabriella Garofalo fell in love with the English language at six, started writing poems (in Italian) at six and is the author of “Lo sguardo di Orfeo”; “L’inverno di vetro”; “Di altre stelle polari”; “Blue branches”.

Death was good to her

Death was to her a good-sized room,
Squeaky clean, decked in blue and white, photo
Sparse furniture, the bare minimum of course –
Just for a change, a bloody change she’d like
To reawaken as a land:
Maybe suburbia past a comet
Where the offspring of elves
Weave tales of ordinary people
Who slept with unicorns at long last
